Mini-Update for Australia and New Zealand Backers

Hello to my Australia and New Zealand backers,

This mini-update is just about filling out the survey.

I was told by clerks at a couple of my local Post offices, that all First Class Mail and Package services are temporarily suspended to Australia and New Zealand.

I felt that was not entirely correct, because it only stated on their website that the USPS First Class Package Service was temporarily suspended, not the First Class mail.

But they disagreed, and will not accept the First Class International mail I normally ship to my backers in Australia and New Zealand.

I apologize for any irritation and confusion this may have caused when you went to fill out the survey and were not able to, because Australia and New Zealand did not show up when you went to choose your Ship-To country in the menu.

I added Australia and New Zealand back in so that you can complete your surveys, and I will be sure to set-aside your coaster order so that I can ship it asap when the temp suspension is lifted.

(When I added them to the excluded list today as per the Post office, I didn't realize that you would not be able to fill out your survey at all)

Thank you again for supporting my Miskatonic Woods art drink coaster project!

The funds were just deposited in my account today, so I can start the next steps to have the coasters manufactured, order shipping materials, purchase postage, and pay any fees to use the pledge-manager software etc.

I'm using BackerKit as the pledge-manger for this Kickstarter campaign, so you will all be receiving your surveys through BackerKit.

I just sent out the “smoke-test" which is simply the survey sent to just a 5% random sample of my backers from each pledge level, so that I can make sure any potential bugs are caught and we try to fix them before I send out all the surveys to everyone else.

If you are new to all this, don't worry, surveys quick and easy:

The surveys will ask you for your name, complete Ship-To address, to confirm your order, and if you want to order any Add-Ons.

During your survey, you can even use the Add-On feature, and add additional coasters of your choice from my past Cthulhu and Lovecraft-themed coasters and my D&D coasters, to your Kickstarter order.  Anyone who missed the Kickstarter can order through the Pre-Order Store!

You will be able to see all my designs and their titles in BackerKit if you are not familiar with them:

• All backers will be charged via BackerKit for shipping and for any Add-Ons at the time of their survey.
• Backers at the Kickstarter Pledge Level for: "12 Coasters - Shipped in BOX - USA ONLY" were accidentally already charged for shipping, so they will not be charged for shipping again by BackerKit.
• If you add-on more coasters, those will be mailed at the same time as your Kickstarter order.
• If you are adding-on any additional coasters to your Kickstarter order, if there are 16 or more coasters total, (including Add-Ons ordered in BackerKit), they most likely will be shipped in a small box, (USA only.)
• If you had already pledged at the "BOX - USA ONLY" level anyway, in the Kickstarter, and then added Add-Ons to your pre-order, I will just send the additional coasters in a small box the next size up, if necessary. 
•  Only BOX orders can come with tracking.  

So backers at the "BOX - USA ONLY" pledge levels, and those who add extra coasters in BackerKit, making their grand total of coasters 16 or more, will get a tracking number emailed to them as soon as their box is scanned-in by the US post office.

My Miskatonic Woods art coaster project closed early this morning and I'm beyond grateful for your support!

What happens next: Kickstarter takes a couple weeks to collect the pledges.

You'll get an email alert if they have trouble with your card (sometimes it's just an update that is needed in your card info on Kickstarter.)

Survey: I will send out your survey in a few days or so, (via BackerKit), which I'm using as the pledge-manager for this project.

The survey is critical, because it will tell me not only your Ship-To Name and Address, but also what coaster designs and how many of each you have pre-ordered when you made your pledge on Kickstarter.

Shipping: Please take note, that as stated on my Kickstarter project's page, in both the Shipping Chart and each Rewards Pledge Level order window, that the low shipping fees will be collected in BackerKit at the time of your Survey.

(One Pledge level - was accidentally charged for shipping, so that level will not see a charge for shipping in BackerKit during their survey)

Add-Ons: Want to add some more coasters on to your current pledge? No Problem!

Backers can easily add-on more coasters during their survey.

Missed the Campaign? No problem, you can still place an order for coasters in the Pre-order Store in BackerKit. Prices are the same as on the Kickstarter. All coaster designs will be available.

Pre-Order Store link button will become live on the Kickstarter project's page as soon as I finish setting up BackerKit.

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to say, "Thank You!" for all your support and wonderful compliments over these Kickstarter campaigns that I have done. It means a great deal to me to be able to create my art, share it with others, and further expand on the various related genres and sub-genres.

My imagination really gets a work-out conceptualizing not only the Lovecraftian universe and cosmic horror, but SF, fantasy, classic monsters, middle-earth and more.

Just a reminder, that when you take your survey in BackerKit (my pledge-manager), you can continue to purchase all of my previous collectible coasters as Add-Ons! (Cthulhu/Lovecraft theme and D&D theme.)

Thank you all so much! I am so inspired by all of my awesome backers!

I am updating my FB pages and then will be back to working on my sketches, drawing, etc. for the next coaster!

It's so difficult to choose which one to do next!

Many backers have listed their favorite characters and stories, so anyone else who would like to share what they'd like to see as the next art drink coaster, please let me know in here as a reply and/or in the Comments section.

And if you'd like to help me promote my new art project, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please share this Kickstarter project with everyone you know who would like it and also on your own social media pages.
